Product Updates - 18th May 2023
In this release, we are thrilled to announce that there are significant improvements related to performance, attachment components, customisations and many more! We have also improved the UI for all fields on the platform. These improvements aims to enhance user experience and increase efficiency. Read on to find out more! 🙌
🪄 Feature Updates
Performance improvements
- Improved loading speed for tables in performance tab
We have optimised the loading speed of reports and tables in the product. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for users who are working with large data sets as it it will save significant time and effort whist having the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
- Revised data saving structure for work items
We have further improved the manner data is saving on our platform so that you can manipulate data more quickly, whilst ensuring that work is saved correctly and efficiently.
New user interface design for fields
Fields in the layout have been given a new visual refresh, giving them a modern and new look 💫
Customisations of the task header
We are providing greater flexibility on the platform to further customise the features and messages that were appearing by default in a task. This includes:
- Hiding the edit pencil icon to limit users from having the ability to edit a submitted task.
- Restricting the ability for existing work item editors to invite new users to a task.
- Removing indications of who is responsible for a pending task in a work item.
Improvements for attachments
Further enhancements have been made to the attachments component. Moving forward, users will have the ability to:
- Rename uploaded attachments from the table grid and in preview mode.
- In card view mode, images uploaded to the attachment component will show a preview.
- Sizing of attachments in preview mode is now fixed to a certain dimension to improve the user interface and usability.
Improved validation handling
We’ve improved the way that validations and error messages appear when users attempt to submit a task.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Scroll on quick filters menu
We’ve fixed an issue with the double scroll for pills in the quick filters. Now, the dropdown menu for quick filters has a single scroll allowing users to scroll vertically and see all options in the menu.
Multi user collaboration indicators
We have fixed an issue where the collaboration indications in work items was not reflecting in real-time.
Asset-related fixes
Several asset-related bug fixes have been made. This includes:
- resolving an issue where users cannot delete an asset from the work grid view
- fixing a bug where editing is not allowed through the edit icon on asset cards.
- allowing users to enter data into fields in the asset layout data grid.
Error when session expires
We have resolved the issue where users faces an unexpected error when trying to log back into a session that has expired.
Visibility of signature
An issue where users are unable to see e-signatures in dark and light themed environments, due to the background colours have been resolved.
