Product Updates - 4th Sep 2023
We are excited to share our latest release for the RISE-X EOP product! In this release, we are introducing a new feature called Banner, designed to grab attention and convey essential information effortlessly. Alongside this addition, we have implemented feature updates across components and enhanced the publish data feature on the platform. As part of our ongoing dedication to quality, we’ve also resolved numerous bugs to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable user journey. Read on to find out more!
🆕 New Features
Banner component
We are happy to announce the release of our latest component - Banner. This component allows us to add essential information or instructions into a task. The Banner also adds a creative touch with the option to include emojis, making crucial details even more engaging and easy to notice. (11640)
🪄 Feature Updates
Attachment component
With the latest enhancement to the attachment component, we can now configure the attachment table to display additional columns, allowing end users to input relevant information which corresponds to the uploaded attachment. This means that important associated information other than the metadata can be saved alongside the attachments, ensuring a more organised and comprehensive approach to data management. (9301)
Work performance loading
Since our last release, we have implemented further enhancements to the platform’s loading speed, guaranteeing a more responsive interface. (11847)
Publishing default values
We have further improved the publish data function on the platform. This enhancement provides the ability to publish a default value into a field, when there is a publishing activity from one work item to another. (11771)
NoCode enhancements
- Component Configuration Updates for Number Input: We have introduced an additional advanced Settings menu within the configuration panel, with the ability to set default values. Stay tuned for further updates across all other components, providing you with even more options to optimise your workflow! (11375)
Icon button
The design of the icon button when it is in an active state has been updated to improve the overall aesthetics of the platform. (10519)
🐞 Bug Fixes
Image resolutions
The displays for empty states of Workflow and Asset pages have been replaced with high resolution images. (11950, 11949)
DIANA emailer in email notifications
An issue where “DIANA Emailer” was showing as the sender in the system generated emails have been resolved. (12001)
Activities panel
- Activities log: We have fixed a bug to make sure that all activities are captured and displayed accurately in the activities panel. (11545)
- Display of timestamps: A bug where the UTC/LOC timestamps were not displayed on hover has been fixed. (11878)
Dashboards
- Fix for expandable grids: An issue where the expandable section is not rendering all the required information has been resolved. (11885)
- Removed fixed date range: We have removed the default date range in a dashboard query to allow more flexibilities in the range of data that can be displayed in a dashboard view. (11892)
- Loading behaviour of charts: We have improved the rendering of charts and metric cards to ensure that they are displayed when all data points have finished loading. (11531)
Custom work card view
We have resolved an issue where a page refresh was required to show work items in a custom Kanban column. (11981)
Annotations in images
A bug where the annotations made to an image in the attachment component did not appear when the file was reopen, has been fixed. (11660)
Reportable fields
We have resolved an issue where the data within a rich text component were displayed with HTML tags. (9155)
Table
We have resolved a bug where a new row is not created in an empty grid on the first try when clicking on the “+Add new item” text button. (11751)
