Assets
What are assets?
- Assets are specific instances of an asset type.
- Asset types group related assets together (e.g., asset type "Country" could include assets like Germany and Spain).
- Assets store information that remains consistent across different work items and workflows.
- Assets are user-defined and can represent physical objects (e.g., cars, buildings), locations (e.g., countries, cities), or other categories.
- Editing an asset updates the information in every work item where that asset is used, making it an efficient way to manage large amounts of data.
- Activities can be set up to automatically update the data inside assets based on the data in work items
- Note that all the assets follow the same structure
- This structure is defined in the asset type
