Product Updates - 10th April 2024
In this Rise-X EOP release, there are several exciting updates, including the ability to configure additional activities that can be triggered by clicking the ‘Done’ button when editing a task. Additionally, we have improved the permissions panel to boost transparency and clarity, enhanced the default filter functionality platform wide, and implemented several bug fixes to enhance platform performance and usability.
🆕 New Feature
Ability to configure activities on Done button
We are introducing a new capability that brings more possibilities on the activities that can be triggered, at different stages of a task. Now, the “Done” button that appears after users starts editing a task can be configured to trigger specific activities. The button can also be renamed to better align with the context of the task, providing users with clarity on the actions that will be triggered when the button is clicked. (15119, 15578)
🪄 Feature Updates
Permission Improvements
We have improved the permissions side panel to enhance transparency for users involved in a work item or asset. The permissions panel now displays users who have received explicit invitations to work items or assets. Additionally, we have addressed several permission bugs to ensure reliability of the platform. Filters behaviour
We have enhanced the functionality of the default and quick filters on the platform to ensure that user selections are consistently saved, unless they are specifically reset using the reset button. This ensures that users’ preferences remains in every sessions, minimising the inconvenience of having to reselect the configured default filter repeatedly. (15822)
Enhanced multi attachment upload functionality
The attachment component now facilitates batch uploads of attachment, that promptly displays without requiring refreshes for all attachments to display in the component. (13838)
Ability to disable print context menu
We have introduced the ability to disable the print functionality accessible via the ellipsis in work items. This prevents users from regenerating any documents in any specified workflows, ensuring greater control. (14249)
Invite activity improvements
We have improved the UpdateInviteActivity feature on the platform, to allow the configuration of the removal of specific user roles and permissions from a task based on predefined activities, such as task submission. This updates enables better control over whether users can return to edit certain tasks after the work item has progressed beyond a specific step, preventing users from editing tasks when its no longer permitted. Datepicker Now button
A convenient NOW button can now be configured to appear in date fields. This aims to streamline the data entry on the platform by allowing users to populate the current date and time into the field with a single click. (15860)
🐞 Bug Fixes
AI Builder Fixes
We have addressed numerous issues within workflows generated using the AI Builder. Workflows can now be generated reliably without encountering duplicates, and users can now proceed to edit and save workflows without encountering errors. (15422, 15615, 15659, 15799, 15422)
User being locked out from task
An issue where fields in a work item becomes read only unexpectedly when users are editing a task have been resolved successfully. (15876)
Unable to select one day in date range
We have resolved a timezone issue to guarantee that users can select the same day in a date range, ensuring accuracy. (15833)
Work grid decimals
A bug where the inaccurate number of decimal places are being displayed in the reporting view has been resolved. (15879)
Sign-up and login fixes
- Logout on landing page: We have successfully resolved an issue with the logout functionality, allowing users to confidently log out of the platform by clicking the logout button, and ensuring proper redirections. (12657, 15006)
- Account verification and password resets: We have fixed a bug to ensure that emails sent for account verifications or password resets now land directly in users’ inboxes with clickable links for convenient platform redirection. (12660, 15005, 12658, 12655)
- Check your inbox page buttons: We have resolved issues relating to the functionality of the buttons on the check your inbox page, to ensure that users can be redirected as expected when clicking on any of the button links. (12963)
