Additionally, we have further enhanced the control over Work Item deletions that can be configured based on the userās Workflow role, ensuring a more tailored and secure user experience.
This release also involves numerous feature improvements, such as refining the Thing Search component to boost performance, simplifying the signup process for Guest users, enhancing illustrations across No-Code, and addressing many bug fixes. Read on to find out more!
šĀ New Features
Asset Value Activity
Introducing a new feature in NoCode - now you can effortlessly update data in Assets through a specified field in a Workflow. This functionality not only ensures that your Asset data stays current, but also eliminates the need for manual updates, reducing the risk of errors and minimising operational effort. (11955, 11840, 11839)

Invite user activity
A new activity has been designed to facilitate the automatic invitation of users from a configured path to the Work Item, which can be further determined by a chosen Asset. This streamlines the process of involving relevant individuals to certain work items, enhancing workflow efficiency. (12161)
Control for deleting
We have introduced the ability to manage permissions for deleting Work Items based on a userās Workflow role. This enhancement offers greater control to tailor access rights precisely and ensuring a more secure user experience. (11781)
šŖĀ Feature Updates
Conditional Section and Subsection
Weāve updated the Section and Subsection components to support the conditional functionality available on other layout components. This enables more dynamic workflows and greater flexibility for end users. (12049)
Uniform status and dates
We have refactored the date and status calculations to guarantee a uniform representation of data for all users. This aims to foster transparency and precision by ensuring an accurate representation of information across the Ecosystem. (11998)
Enhanced Thing Search component
In order to minimise wait times for Asset search components we have enhanced the search method and improved our use of cache responses. (12160)
Optimising Work and Asset permissions
We focused on optimising permission delegations in Work and Assets, and handling misconfigurations in Entity and improved logging for more efficient diagnostics when required. (12109, 11808)
Guest user access
We have modified the interface for guest users to provide an easy link to register for a new account, simplifying the sign-up process. (12979)
Ability to resend emails with OTP
We have enhanced the notifications sending functionality to allow email notifications to be resent, which includes the regeneration of One-Time Password codes, which are sent along with the email. (14891)
Updated Illustrations across NoCode
Our latest updates in No Code includes a visual makeover for illustrations, offering a more visual appealing and intuitive interface. Notable improvements are visible in the Asset import modal, providing clear indications of successful or failed uploads, as well as the empty states for Workflow and Asset pages. (11970, 11974, 11975, 11976, 11977)

Loader for components
We have enhanced the loader for components across the platform to achieve a uniformity and consistency with the proposed design. Additionally, we have fixed an issue related to duplicated loaders in a single component, ensuring a smoother and more cohesive user interface. (11989, 11990, 14669)
Easy access to User ID
We have introduced a user-friendly update by making the user ID easily accessible in the UI. This enhancement simplifies the information retrieval process for users setting up integrations, where both the user ID and an API key can be generated from the same panel. (12146)
Web hooks
Weāve added web hook functionality to our workflows to enable more advanced, secure external integration scenarios.(12117)
Publish Data from Entity to Work
Publishing (pushing) data from one work item to another work item has existed for some time, however updating the reference data in an entity and having this reference data propagate to the related work items has not been possible until now! There is a new activity that allows the flow to configure the entity to push data to open work items, this is an opt in feature, as not all work items (even if open) require the most up to date reference data.
Work Inherits Access Permissions from an Entity/Asset
In order to manage the default access to work via the web interface a small change was made to enable the sharing of permissions on an entity to one or more work items. Allowing users to manage access to work via the entity. An example is that you have an asset/entity on a work item such as a facility, each facility is managed by a separate 3rd party organisation, when you create work with facility 1 then the users assigned to facility 1 will also be assigned to the work, where as if facility 2 is used then the users of facility 2 are invited. The idea being that the 3rd party users can manage the permissions themselves and the work will automatically pick up these settings and also update when the entity is updated.
