Product Updates - 24th Aug 2023

Welcome to our latest release notes! This week, we focused on bringing more performance improvements, expanding the capabilities of features in Assets, the Table component, and the visual representation of data in charts. Additionally, we’ve rolled out a variety of updates within the NoCode Ecosystem, along with many bug fixes. Keep reading to find out more!

🪄 Feature Updates

Performance improvement

Focused on optimising user experience, we have made another improvement to the loading speed on the platform to ensure a noticeably faster and more responsive interface. These efforts have resulted in reduced lagging and minimised loading interruptions, particularly during submission of work items. (11228)

Assets

• Opening an Asset in new tab: We have added the functionality for users to open an Asset in a new tab. Right click on an asset in the list view, and the option menu will appear, presenting a convenient option to open the selected asset in a new tab. (11409)
• Exporting: We have enabled the exporting feature in Assets to allow users to conveniently download a tabular representation of their Assets, in either EXCEL or CSV format. (11647)

NoCode enhancements

• Component header UI enhancements: we’ve focused on refining the user experience by introducing comprehensive enhancements to the components in the NoCode Ecosystem. This includes standardising padding, spacing and colour highlights when hovering over components. The labels and placeholders in the configuration panels has also undergone meticulous updates to provide a cohesive interface for users. (11191, 11351, 11355, 11356)
• Ecosystem: We are introducing a refined terminology that better reflects the interconnected nature of our platform and product. As such, we have renamed ‘Environment’ into ‘Ecosystem’ across the interface. (11468)

Customising placeholders in Table

Placeholders in the Table components can now be customised to display relevant and personalised information, offering enhanced guidance and assistance for end users. (11407)

Dashboard - Pie charts

Pie charts in our dashboards can now be configured to display labels with accompanying pointers. This provides the ability to represent the data in a more intuitive and informative manner, whilst enhancing the visual appeal of the chart. (11548)

Document generation abilities

Electronic documents generated by the platform now supports renumbering functionality. This feature dynamically adjusts document numbering based on the sections users fill in, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the document. (11514)

🐞 Bug Fixes

Date picker component

• We have resolved an issue with the date picker component to make sure that users are able to change the dates fields without facing any unexpected looping issues. (11332)
• A bug where the field’s label was overlapped by the date picker field has now been resolved. (11440)
• An issue where there was an unexpected discrepancy in the state of the date picker toggle when two or mode users are collaborating on the same work item has now been fixed. (11518)

Issue with overlapping labels

• We have fixed an issue where the long section names were overlapping in the UI. (11313)
• An issue where the menu labels were not displaying the complete name has been fixed. (11523)

DianaAI icon

We have successfully addressed an issue related to the rendering of the DianaAI icon when a user generates a workflow with the DianaAI Workflow Builder. (10325)

Website redirect

We have resolve a bug to ensure that users are redirected back to the Rise-X website at rise-x.io if there are no other environments found. (11208)
