Product Updates - 2nd Nov 2023

Welcome to our latest platform update, where we introduce a range of improvements to allow users to access associated work more swiftly, adding the ability to replicate and modify existing Work Items, and enhancing the publish data functionality to handle data more efficiently. 🪄 Feature Updates

Data-grid Inline Action

We have added a new function to the data grid to display Work Items related to the current Task. This new capability will allow users to quickly access the associated Work Item in a new tab by clicking on the link in a data grid. (10834)

Global Flow Actions

An enhancement has been made to the platform’s global flow actions, offering the ability to duplicate Work Items in a Workflow. This aims to save time and effort, particularly when dealing with Work Items that share similarities. Users can now quickly replicate existing Work Items, retaining details tailored to meet their specific needs. This functionality can also be configured to show in the toolbar of Work Items, and in the context menu accessed through the ellipsis of a Kanban card. (10818, 10780, 10837)

Publish data improvements

We have further improved the publishing data capabilities in our platform, which includes:

• Work item creation and data publishing: Now, a new Work Item can be created in a separate Workflow automatically when a pre-configured condition is met within an exisiting Work Item. This feature also enables publishing of data from the original Work Item, to the newly created one, minimising the need for double entry of data by different parties across multiple Workflows in an Ecosystem. • Publishing data from Assets: We have also introduced the capability to publish data from an Asset to a Work Item, enhancing data integration and accessibility. (10786)

🐞 Bug Fixes

Publishing attachments between Workflows

We have resolved an issue to ensure that attachments are now publishing as expected between Workflows when specific predetermined conditions are met. (10889)

Sorting in Assets page

In the Assets navigation panel, items can now be sorted accurately according to its Last Modified date and time. (10878)

Resolving data display issue for PDF

We have fixed a bug where large PDF Base64 strings were added to the Work data, preventing it from being viewed in the browser. (10652)

Work returns cached data

An issue where the system was returned cached data for Work has been fixed. (10768)

Export function in data grid

We have implemented a fix to ensure that columns displayed in the data grid align with the columns in the exported CSV or EXCEL files, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. (10871)
