🪄 Feature Updates
Dashboard Improvements
In this release, we have enhanced the designs of metric cards and charts for improved aesthetics and usability of the platform. (14124, 14051) These include:
- Revisiting design for metric cards: Titles and contents within metric card tiles now have a clearer distinction, enhancing readability and user comprehension of the displayed data.
- Expandable button: A plus button with numberings is now available within each metric card to indicate the number of items hidden from the main view. This will prevent issues with content being cut-off, allowing users with the ability to click on the expand button to view additional details that are not displayed in the tile.
- Pointers in doughnut charts: The doughnut charts now supports pointers for better section identifications. The top 10 variables will be displayed, whilst a catch-all labelled as “Other” groups the remaining variables. Users can also hover over the “Other” section to easily view the grouped data.
Hide Workflow components
We have added an advanced functionality to our No Code builder that allows components to be hidden in the workflow layout. This enables Workflow Configurators to configure complex calculations and set default editors for tasks, using these hidden fields as reference points. Hidden components will also declutter the layout, hiding unnecessary fields for end users who are viewing and filling out the form (14075).
💡 Tips on configuring hidden components:
- Components can be hidden by switching on the ‘Hide component’ toggle. This toggle is available under the ‘Advanced’ tab and only displayed when any default data has been selected to be configured for the component.
- In this version, ‘Text’, ‘Number’ and ‘People Search’ components support this functionality.
Loading states
We have implemented a loading state for buttons to provide users with visual feedback when actions are being processed in the background, to help users understand when tasks are underway, particularly in situations such as slow internet connections, or when the system is checking for other users editing the same flow in the background. (14025)
🐞 Bug Fixes
Platform performance fixes:
- Delegated user issues when editing work items: We have resolved an issue where users with delegated access could momentarily lose edit access to tasks. (16713, 14047, 16798)
- Large number of attachments causing loading time out: We have revisited and improved the query of attachments to support rendering over 900 attachments in one work item without errors. (14090, 16794)
Assets fixes:
- Deleted assets: We have fixed an issue where assets deleted from the UI continued to appear as options in fields searching from the Asset Type where the deleted assets used to reside. (15694, 13997)
- Validations on asset creation: A bug has been fixed to ensure that the validation on the asset display name is only triggered when the user tries to submit the asset without a display name.(16660)
Viewing and editing duplicated workflows
An issue with edit permissions has been addressed to ensure that Ecosystem Orchestrator will always have permission to view and edit the duplicated Workflows in their Ecosystems. (16679)
Error response for search field
We have fixed a bug to ensure that the correct error type response is always returned for a data source field that queries an external database. This is to guarantee that the system can recognise all error types returned from the external database. (16724)
Resetting of components in NoCode builder
An issue where the default state of components did not reset as intended when the reset button has been clicked has been fixed. (16787)
Owner badges
We have fixed a bug to ensure that the Workflow Owner badge will be displayed accurately at all times in the share panel. (14162)
Warning validations
We have fixed an issue with warning validations configured for a field, to ensure that they are always triggered when the task is in edit mode. (14157, 14085)
Prevent flow creation on mobile
To avoid a bad user experience, we have disabled the ability for users to create workflows and asset types in the mobile version. (14073)
Tabbing behaviour
We have resolved an issue to ensure that default values configured in read-only fields do not disappear when a user tabs through the layout. (14079)
Caching fixes:
We have fixed issues with caching to ensure that the user interface is updated promptly when Workflows and Assets have been created, edited, deleted, duplicated and the importing of Assets. (14025)
