Product Updates - 14th August 2025
This release introduces a more flexible way to review AI-generated workflows, giving designers full control before applying changes. It also includes usability and reliability improvements that make working across the platform more consistent.
đ New Features
Review and Control AI Suggestions Before Applying
The AI layout builder now includes new Accept, Discard, and Try Again options to help workflow designers stay in control. When you use the AI prompt to generate a layout, the suggested configuration is shown in a preview mode and doesnât affect your actual workflow until you accept it.
You can make edits to the layout, drag components around, or add new ones â all while reviewing the AIâs suggestions. If you're not happy with the result, simply regenerate the layout or discard it entirely. Once you're ready, accept the changes to apply them to your workflow.
While a draft is active, the platform will temporarily block access to advanced features like Rules or the Advanced Editor until the draft is either accepted or discarded. This helps prevent confusion and ensures you're always working on a clean version of your flow.
The toolbar also adapts based on where youâre working in the layout. If you scroll away from the AI-edited section, itâll remind you there are pending changes and help you jump straight back to them. This new experience makes working with AI suggestions clearer, safer, and easier to manage. (25304)
đȘÂ Feature Updates
Better handling of unexpected values in select fields
If a dropdown field contains a saved value thatâs no longer in the list of options, the saved value will now still appear in the field. This means users will always see the value that was applied rather than a blank. (26254)
đ Bug Fixes
Duplicate cards in Kanban view resolved
Cards in the Kanban view were showing up in multiple steps at once when a task was sent back to an earlier step. This has been fixed, and cards now only appear in their current step, providing a clearer view of progress. (25460)
Toggle Fields Now Show Correct Labels in Tables
Toggle fields in tables now display the labels used in Work (like "Yes/No" or "Open/Closed") instead of just showing âtrueâ or âfalse.â This fix ensures the data grid accurately summarises items within the Workflow, making tables easier to understand at a glance. (25644)
Attachment access fixed for invited users
Previously, invited users were unable to open attachments in shared work items, instead seeing a loading spinner. Now, users will inherit access to attachments when invited, and a clear error message will appear if access is restricted. (25797)
PDF previews now open reliably in assets
Previously, PDF files wouldnât load when using the "Open Preview" button on locked assets. This has now been fixed so users can preview PDF attachments, whether the asset is locked or unlocked. (25997)
Smarter refresh behaviour on workboards
Workboards would unnecessarily reload whenever another user in the platform edited a work item, even if it wasn't relevant to your view. Now, workboards only refresh when changes affect your current workflow, reducing distractions and improving performance. (25831)
Work item data now displays correctly
Some work items were showing up with missing or empty data when opened. This has been fixed, so users will now see the correct data. (26338)
Creator now shown in the activity panel
Work items now correctly show who created them in the Activities panel. Previously, this information was missing, making it hard to trace the origin of a work item. Youâll now see the correct user avatar and name for better visibility and traceability. (26377)
AI-generated workflows now reliably submittable
We resolved an issue where some AI-generated workflows were missing submit buttons, making them impossible to complete. All newly created workflows now include the correct configuration so they can be submitted and progressed as expected. (26442)
Fixed issue that could cause publishing errors from activity edits
Unnecessary settings were being added when editing activities, potentially causing errors later when trying to publish a work item. These settings are no longer applied, so your workflows behave as expected. (26499)
