Asset Permissions

• Asset permissions exist in a hierarchy where if you have a permission you also get the permission below it

Asset Type level permissions

• Asset level permission apply to the asset type and all assets that sit under it

Asset type owner

• Can set up asset types
• Automatically get asset editor permission to all assets created by someone in their company
• Can not be removed as asset editor by other asset editors
• Can add or remove asset type owners

Asset type creator

• asset type creators are the exact same as asset type owners but they can not be removed by other asset type owners

Asset level permissions

• Asset level permissions apply only to the particular asset

Asset editor

• Can edit the data in the asset
• Can add or remove asset editors

Asset viewer

• Can view all unrestricted tasks
• Can add or remove asset viewers
